If you decided to deal with blackjack you should learn playing blackjack studding its rules. The goal of a blackjack is to score 21 points from the cards that are given by the dealer. Thus, the game is played between the dealer and the player. The player makes bets in the game. The minimum and maximum bets rates depend on a specific casino. In the beginning of the game the player gets 2 cards. Knowing the total value of these cards, the player decides whether to take another card or not. A dealer takes possession of a card which is dealt face up. He has the opportunity to take the 2 cards, but then, one will be turned over.
A player has a right to decide whether take another card or not. Everything depends on the total value of the dealt cards. If the amount of them is 21 then it is prohibited to take another card. When a player decides he has enough cards the dealer gets his own cards. If the dealer's cards points are less than 17, he takes a card on. If the amount of cards is 17 or above the cards dealing stops. If at the end of the dealing the player's total value of cards is higher than the dealer's one, but less than 21, he wins (or loses unless the situation is in contrary). The total value of cards in the professional blackjack is the following: ace means 1 or 11 depending on the players wishes, cards with images mean 10, other cards are valued according to their nominal.
There are some tricks in blackjack. One of them is double. The player has the right to double his bet if the total value of cards is less than 21 after the first distribution. His bet must be equal to the original one. However, he receives only one card. The player can apply the split rule. If after the first distribution a player gets 2 cards of the same value he has the right to split the cards. To this end, the player must double his original bet. The rule of insurance also plays important role. If, during the game, the dealer drops the first ace, the player can insure against "blackjack". Insurance is equal to half of the original bet. If the dealer drops "Blackjack", the insurance wins 2:1. Otherwise, insurance loses.
Another important rule is surrender. If you do not like the first two cards you can opt out of the game while you lose half the original bet.
